The Ultimate Sin
So the other day while on Wikipedia, I was reading the little tid-bits about Ozzy's albums. I came to The Ultimate Sin, which is a personal favorite, and come to find out that the album has been deleted from the catalog and will not be produced anymore. I was shocked. Millions of people in the future will never hear this album. The madness!

I can hear the snickering out there about this. But seriously, this album is under-rated. Some of the finest of 80's metal. Ozzy has even stated in an interview I read from Metal Edge, claiming it was his least favorite because he was never satisfied on the final mix. I can understand why, at times it sounds kinda airy like there is something missing.

Oh well I guess. At least some of us have the last copy of it. Pass it through the generations, make backups, keep the original alive.

I've been listening to Ozzy a lot since Jose left. Comfort music.

Good to know that it was deleted from the catalog. I am rather digital with my music these days and have been putting all of my cds onto my external and on my ipod. I will have to keep in mind not to rid myself of the cd once I put it on the drive.

Shit, I never rid of ANY CD that I bought. Unless its something really dumb like Batman Forever soundtrack or something like that. Album has been deleted since April 2002 but still on iTunes from the 1995 remastered edition (the one I have).

Side note, don't buy any of Ozzy's old albums now. The original bass and drums have been re-recorded with 2 new guys. If you can find them the last of the originals are from the 1995 Remastered Editions.
